Why Have Angst?

Everyone knows there has to be Angst. Angst is the key to the Giant's Lock. Angst keeps the White Tower standing. Angst is Gog, and also Magog. And without Angst, how could we give it its own wiki page? We recommend a good helping of Angst at least once per semester.

If it makes you feel better, there is no angst!

Questions to Ask when there is not Enough Angst

• Does everyone in SWIL get along?
  • If so, for how long?
  • If not, why?
• Why is [insert name] doing more/less work than he/she is supposed to?
• What is the purpose of SWIL?
  • Is this purpose being fulfilled?
  • Is it the same as it used to be?
  • If not, how will this lead to the Ultimate Demise of All That We Hold Dear?
• How will the next SWIL Election utterly destroy SWIL?
• Are freshmen joining SWIL? Are upperclassmen leaving SWIL?
  • If upperclassmen are leaving, does it matter?
• What will become of SWIL after we have graduated?
• Why can't I get a date?

Asking any one of these (or other, unlisted) questions is sure to generate lots of worry, handwringing, and sleepless nights, even among those who are not quite sure how they got involved.

Don't Panic.
