Queen Bondage and King Discipline

Presidency of Jere7my Tho?rpe (Queen Bondage) and Melissa Shaner (King Discipline), who ran on the platform "I like science fiction, and she's responsible." Their titles were chosen at Inauguration by the rabble, who deemed the chosen titles (now lost to history) insufficiently amusing. Jeff Hildebrand, the previous president (now dubbed the Superannuated Master of SWILdom), was particularly annoyed by this, because he feared that j7y and MyS were not taking the job sufficiently seriously, especially because MyS skipped the first half of her own inauguration to go to a contra dance. Despite this, the SWILnewsi were regularly written, the magazine was bug-eyed, the victrons were massacreed, the chess was live, and Lloyd Alexander was visited (though not by MyS, who was taking the GREs).
