Put here anything you think SWILlies ought to be aware of - parties, movie showings, major anniversaries, your birthday, whatever. Notifications of events that happen and then are over will be deleted when they are no longer useful.
Things on the wiki should be announced, too, but not here: go over to Community Portal and put in a link and explanation.
Coming up in SWIL Meeting
SWILmeeting will be held every Saturday that Sharples is open, from now until the end of the semester, at high noon in Sharples Room 4.
Google Calendar
This Google Calendar (https://www.google.com/calendar/embed?src=ok64246as6gc0eb6jnertq5qoo%40group.calendar.google.com) displays events transcribed from the SWIL Fun list. It is not hosted locally on the SWILwiki, and resides on servers controlled by the sysadmins of neither SCCS nor SWARPAnet.
If you'd like to help keep this calendar updated, just follow the following steps.
- Get a Google Account. If you already have a GMail account, you're already set.
- E-mail someone with sharing privileges, and ask politely for editing privileges.
- There is no step 3.
- Do your thing!
