Swarthmore
From SWILwiki
Swarthmore College is famous for being an elite women's college in upstate New York. It's unclear how it got that way, having never been either. Vestiges of its origins as a Quaker school remain in the presence of the Quaker Meeting House on campus, and the prevalence of violent games like Wink.
Swarthmore is home to the Swarthmore Warders of Imaginative Literature (SWIL), as well as many other clubs, organizations, and entities. It has been heard to boast the highest a-cappella-group-to-student ratio of any college. It forms the Tri-College consortium with Bryn Mawr and Haverford.

Terminology
- Students at Swarthmore are referred to as Swatties. "Swarthmorons" is generally viewed as a derogatory name, and should be avoided.
- Prospective students are called specs. This term is unique to the Tri-Co, as far as is known.
- The Crum can refer to the Crum Creek itself or to the many acres of woods on either side, between the college campus and the Blue Route.
